Use this page to find "metadata" for National Topographic System (NTS) map sheets. Metadata includes the sheet name, version, contour interval, datum, etc. Enter an NTS number into the box below and hit "Submit Query".

Instructions:

• To find metadata for an 1/50 000 scale map sheet such as "31G/5" enter the NTS number ("31G") in the box to the left of the slash above, select "5" from the drop-down menu, and click "Submit Query".
  
  
• To find metadata about a 1/250 000 scale map sheet and all the 1/50 000 scale map sheets within the block, enter "31G" in the space to the left of the slash above, select "All sheets" from the drop-down menu, and click "Submit Query".
